“Our Friends -My Object” exhibition

The My Object exhibition began three years ago, in 2019, when artworks were created at the en-blanc Minami Aoyama Children’s School in Minato-ku, Tokyo and were exhibited at a book café in Kanda, Tokyo.  A project was underway to publish a collection of these objects as a ‘children’s photography book for adults’, rather than a ‘picture book created by adults for children’, but unfortunately the publication was tabled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

This year, for the second “My Object” exhibition, children will create their own works of art in a fun yet serious manner. Then they will get gather at Tarohei Gallery in Nihonbashi with their objects as friends.

I’ll shine a twinkle on you. See? You’re feeling better.

Maestro! You’re looking good today.

Hi! Do I look smart what?

There’s an alien base over that mountain.

Do you know “Fall in”?  I can do it too. See?

These artworks were presented in the My Object exhibition three years ago in 2019.
